A little about me…

Hi! My name is Franny. I recently graduated from Northeastern University with a BFA in Experience Design. I am originally from San Francisco, California. As the daughter of two architects, my childhood consisted of museum visits, drawing as entertainment, and overly ambitious, creative approaches to school projects. I learned how to sew and design my own clothes, experiment in ongoing baking projects, and make many outrageous assemblies made of cardboard and duct tape. Although I didn’t have formal art or design training until my senior year of high school, my childhood provided the foundation I needed to pursue a career in design. Concurrent with my journey in fine art, painting and drawing I studied graphic design and took on an art history minor. After a semester of 3D foundations I transitioned from graphics to user experience design.; which incorporated my broad love of problem solving and diverse interest of mediums.

I love to create work that focuses on activism, empowerment, and social issues. In my graphic design work, I have an interest in the use hand illustrations juxtaposed with modernist typography. Outside of my classes and work, I often cook with my friends and family, read novels, watch Law and Order, and do yoga and meditation. I also have a passion for hearing live music and thrifting to find funky pieces to style.
